Luongo and Collins Score First Goals As Bruins In Win Over Melville
The scoring drought is over the Eagle Drilling Estevan Bruins as last night they defeated the Melville Millionaires by a score of 4-2.
Heading into the 3rd Period the Bruins were trailing by a score of 1-0, but 8:14 into the third Matt Luongo picked up his first goal with Estevan as the Bruins tied it at 1.
Just a few minutes later Anthony Collins would bang away his first goal as a Bruin as Estevan took the lead 2-1. Liam Brennan would score the game winning goal on the powerplay to make it 3-1. After a late Melville goal, Brant Harris would score an empty netter, as the Bruins walked away with a 4-2 win.
Chris Neamonitis played another great game for the Bruins picking up 31 saves.
The Bruins next action is Friday when they head to Battlefords to take on the North Stars.
