The Estevan Bruins have bolstered their roster once again by adding forwards Ben Finlay, Devin Mitzner and goaltender Joel Danyluk.
Finlay and Danyluk join the Bruins after being acquired from the La Ronge Ice Wolves as part of a future considerations deal, while Mitzner returns for a second stint with the Bruins after having had his rights revert back to the Bruins from the Dauphin Kings.
Finlay, a 1990 born center, had a strong year for the Ice Wolves, notching 15 goals and adding 39 assists through 54 regular season games. The Regina native is a natural scorer that uses his speed to exploit his opposition.
Danyluk, a 1990 goaltender is coming off a season in which he posted a 3.43 goals against average while maintaining a .904 save percentage. An athletic goaltender, Danyluk uses his size well and is very difficult to beat.
A familiar face to the Bruins, Mitzner had a strong finish to his season, scoring 10 goals and adding 8 assists through 19 games with the Dauphin Kings.
“We are excited to have these three players joining our club for the 2010-2011 season. In all of them we are getting players that are coming off championship seasons and are proven winners. With these moves, we have added scoring and stabilized our back end with a strong goaltender. The culture of the Estevan Bruins is about working hard and winning, and with these three guys we get that.” Karry Biette, Estevan Bruins Head Coach & General Manager
