The Estevan Bruins are one win away from returning to the SJHL finals.

The Bruins won in come from behind fashion Tuesday night in Yorkton, beating the Terriers 2-1 after scoring twice in the third period after trailing 1-0 after 40 minutes.

Eric Pearce tied the game before Mikol Sartor scored the game winner with less than five minutes remaining.

The Bruins now have a commanding 3-0 lead in the semi final series.

Estevan’s last trip to the finals came back in 2018 when they lost to the Nipawin Hawks in seven games.

The Bruins can sweep the series with another win in Yorkton on Thursday night.
