The Estevan Bruins are proud to announce that Amanda Wanner has been recognized as the SaskEnergy ‘Volunteer of the Year’.
Amanda has been heavily involved in the Bruins’ organization since 2015, when she was hired as the team’s Office Manager. She held that position until moving on after the Centennial Cup ended in May 2022.
However, Amanda served in several volunteer roles throughout the past seven years. Amanda and her family have billeted several players over the years including Daniel Wapple, Austin King-Cunningham, and Mitch Kohner.
Amanda also has helped selling 50/50’s at games and provided support at other Bruins’ fundraisers. And after her employment with the team ended, she now serves as a volunteer on the Bruins’ board of directors.
