The Estevan Bruins Hockey Club are happy to announce the “Breakfast With the Bruins” Hockey program!
Starting in September the Bruins Staff and a few of its players will take to the ice from 7am-8am for ice sessions with the community youth and help develop their skills.
The program will consist of 46 ice sessions to be held weekday mornings throughout the hockey season. They will be mainly on Monday and Tuesdays for those born from 2009-2013, and Wednesdays for those in the U9 category.
“This morning program will focus on power skating, puck handling, passing and shooting skills. It’s a program that I’ve wanted to bring into the community for a while, and now we have the chance to do so.” Said Jason Tatarnic, the Head Coach and GM of the Estevan Bruins.
“It’s something new that we are happy to bring to the Estevan community, as there is such a large amount of hockey enthusiasts in Estevan, and we hope by putting this program together that we can help the youth of the city further develop their skills and passion for the sport” said Adam Shirley, Director of Marketing and Operations.
Sign-ups are limited as there are only a number of spots in each age group. All positions are welcome to sign up.
