Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League

Bruins Add Mac Taylor (04) to Roster

The Estevan Bruins are pleased to announce that we have added forward Mac Taylor (04) from the Shreveport Mudbugs of the NAHL.  The Hartland, Wisconsin native played for the Milwaukee Jr. Admirals U18 AAA program prior to his time with Shreveport.  “Mac is a smart player that can play a strong two way game for us.  Mac will fill a role for us and we are looking forward to having him in the line-up Wednesday night.  We’re happy Mac decided to come to Estevan.” commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.

Taylor, who’s mother is from Saskatchewan, has a number of family ties to the province including cousin Evan Allan, who currently plays with the Estevan Bears U18 AAA. On moving to Estevan to join the Bruins he said “I’m honoured and excited to play in Estevan as this organization is definitely one of the best in junior hockey from the amazing facilities, the great staff and its great fan base.  It is truly a special place to be and I am excited be back in the homeland.”

Mac will make his SJHL debut on Wednesday night when the Flin Flon Bombers come to Affinity Place.
