Bruins Add Two Commits For 2023/24 Season

The Estevan Bruins have announced two player commitments for the upcoming 2023/24 season to impact both ends of the rink.

The Estevan Bruins are proud to announce that forward Madden Wallis (05) has committed to play for the Estevan Bruins for the 2023-2024 season. Last year, the Shaunavon, Saskatchewan native recorded 5 goals and 8 assists in 34 games for the Tisdale Trojans U18 AAA program

“Madden is a big body and is an extremely strong player, He is very effective along the walls and around the net. Using his big body will be the key to his success next season”, commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.

Madden Wallis had this to say about joining the Estevan Bruins: “I’m excited, I want to help bring even more success to the Bruins organization and can’t wait to get to Estevan in the fall for training camp!”

The Estevan Bruins are proud to announce that Ryan Hayes (‘05) has committed to play for the Estevan Bruins next season. The 6’2 defenseman recorded 4 goals and 18 assists in 34 games last year.

“Ryan is a big body that competes very hard who defends very well.  We know Ryan has leadership qualities as he was named the team captain for the Cape Breton West Islanders last season”, commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.

The Port Hawkesbury, Nova Scotia native had this to say about joining the Bruins: “I am excited to be given this opportunity with a high level Junior organization and am looking forward to what is to come!”
