The Estevan Bruins are finally back in the win column.
The Bruins beat the Weyburn Red Wings 3-2 Friday night at Affinity Place.
Estevan is now 2-6 on the season, while the Wings fell to 2-4.
Bruins goaltender Cam Hrdlicka was outstanding. He made 36 stops on the night, including several key saves in the third period.
Estevan was able to kill off multiple penalties in the third to preserve the win.
Defenceman Matthew Ronn scored twice for the Bruins in the first period.
The two teams will meet again Sunday afternoon in Estevan.
