It’s been a slow start to 2023 for the Estevan Bruins.
After losing in overtime on Friday night at home, the Bruins lost 6-1 to the Weyburn Red Wings Saturday night at Crescent Point Place.
Estevan gave up three goals in the first period and could never really get back into the game after that.
Owen Barrow scored the lone Bruin goal, while Keagon Little was forced to leave the game in the second period after taking an apparent high stick to the face.
Estevan hosts Yorkton Wednesday night at Affinity Place.
