The Eagle Sky Estevan Bruins 3rd Annual Glow Golf Tournament is coming up this Saturday, August 16th at Hidden Valley Golf and RV Resort.
Marketing Director and Voice of the Bruins, Marty Martinson said it’s an event the team looks forward to each year.
“The Glow Golf tournament is just awesome,” Martinson said. “It’s a chance to come out, meet the Bruins’ players and really bring in the new season in a fun way, surrounded by friends and community, while supporting the local team. It gives people a chance to put a face to the name of new staff and players and re-connect with familiar faces from years past.”
Being a newer tradition of the team’s, the event has continued to evolve heading into its third year, now including a number of newer mini-games within the different holes, including three prizes for the “Bruins’ Target Shoot-out” as well as multiple “Close-Approach” prizes and a “Gimme String” which players can purchase for $20 to give their golf-game an added boost!

Participants are again encouraged to bring supplies to decorate their carts with lights and other glowing materials to brighten up the night portion of the event, while in addition the tee-boxes will also be lit up this year.
Registration for this year’s Glow Golf Tournament will be from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. for the “evening portion” of the event of the front-9 holes. Following supper, prizes and auction, the action will resume with a shotgun start for the back-9 between 9:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. when dusk hits.
Supper at this year’s event will be pulled pork catered by Beatz Eatz with salads from the Tower Cafe.
