The Eagle Sky Estevan Bruins return to the road Saturday for the second night of their weekend home-and-home with the division rival, Melville Millionaires.
The Bruins enter play second in the Bunge Division, and fourth overall in the SJHL standings, with a 16-9-3 record through 28 games. With 35 points, the Bruins sit just two back of second-place Flin Flon, and two ahead of sixth-place Kindersley showing just how tight the top-eight are, jockeying for position.
The Bruins have won two of their last three heading into play, but will be looking to answer back from a 5-1 loss to the Mills last night to open the weekend series.
The Millionaires sit third in the Bunge Division , and seventh overall, with a 14-11-4 record through 29 games. Melville’s 32 points are just two back of fifth-place Battlefords, and two ahead of ninth-place Yorkton, who find themselves just outside the top-eight playoff picture.
Players to Watch
Dynamic top-line centers, Ewan Rennie (EST) and Kale Margolis (MLV) headline the players to watch for each side heading into Saturday’s contest.
Rennie (5’11, 165) is a shifty playmaker and creative offensive force who scored the Bruins’ lone goal last night for his league-leading 22nd of the year. With 45 points (22G, 23A) through 28 games, Rennie is also tied for first in the league in point production at the mid-way mark of the regular-season schedule.
Margolis (6’2, 196) plays a power game for the Millionaires and sits T-5th overall in the league scoring race, with a team-high 32 points (13G, 19A) in 25 games. Fresh off a two-assist performance a night ago, Margolis’ pair of helpers came on the man-advantage at critical times for his team.

EST -> PP: 22.9% (1st) | PK: 80.4% (10th)

The Millionaires will go back to Noah Sinagowitz for the second straight night, fresh off making 26/27 saves last night to backstop his team to the win in Estevan. Sinagowitz is 6-4-2 in 16 games this year, with a 2.93 GAA (7th) and .908 save percentage (10th).
