It’s time to get excited for what’s anticipated to be the most memorable season of junior hockey in Estevan Bruins’ history.
The full 58-game SJHL regular season schedule has been released, including all 28 home dates for the Estevan Bruins as they kick off the ‘Centennial Cup season’ before hosting the National Championship from May 20th – 29th, 2022.
“Our whole organization cannot wait for hockey to return to Estevan and provide our fans with what should be the most entertaining season on the ice in quite some time,” states Danny Ewen, Director of Marketing & Operations. “We’re anticipating that we’ll be able to play games to full fan capacity with little or no public health restrictions in place…so fans can just show up and cheer loudly and proudly for the Estevan Bruins!”
While all 28 home games will be “must-watch” hockey, here are a few highlights from the schedule release:
Sat. Sept. 24th – 7:30pm – Season Opener vs Yorkton Terriers
Sun. Oct. 31st – 3:00pm – Halloween Game vs Melville Millionaires
Sat. Nov. 6th (7:30pm) & Sun. Nov. 7th (3:00pm) – Double-Header vs Humboldt Broncos
Thur. Dec. 30th – 7:00pm – New Years’ Game vs Weyburn Red Wings
Wed. Mar. 2nd – 7:00pm – Final Regular Season Game vs Notre Dame Hounds
Season Tickets for the 2021-22 Estevan Bruins’ season will go on sale on Wednesday, July 14th at 10:00am. Full details on how to get your tickets, ‘carried-over’ tickets from last year, pricing and how to purchase tickets will be released on Tuesday.
