An outstanding season for the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins came to an abrupt end on Sunday night at Affinity Place.
Justin Ball scored the game-winning goal with less than three minutes remaining in the 3rd period as the Melfort Mustangs defeated the Bruins 3-2. Melfort wins the SJHL semi-final series 4-2 and will face the Battlefords North Stars in the Canalta Cup Final, while the Bruins are eliminated from the playoffs in the loss.
