THE BRUINS GET BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN WITH A SHOOTOUT VICTORY OVER THE NOTRE DAME HOUNDS.
It took a scrambly, back-and-forth third period and the first shootout of the year at Affinity Place, but the Estevan Bruins got some of their own back with a 6-5 victory over the Notre Dame Hounds on Wednesday night.
Jake Fletcher scored two goals and the shootout winner while Max Sidelnik stopped all four Hounds shooters to earn the win. The victory halted a three game losing skid for the Bruins.
