Bruins Take Millionaires To The Bank

Forward Kade Runke scored the game winner in the third period as the Estevan Bruins beat the Melville Millionaires 3-1 at Affinity Place on Saturday night.

Runke scored twice, while Mark Rumsey had a pair of assists in his return to the line up.

The Bruins fired 48 shots at the Melville net, with goaltender Alexis Giroux keeping the Millionaires in the game for most of the night.

Estevan is now a perfect 7-0 against Melville this season.
The Bruins remain in first place, two points ahead of the Humboldt Broncos, who also won on Saturday night.

The Bruins host Notre Dame on Wednesday in what will be the final regular season game at Affinity Place this season.
