Last night the Bruins faced off against the Nipawin Hawks for the last time of the 2022 year at Affinity place.
A slower start to the game resulted in a 1-1 tie in the end of the first period with multiple penalty calls on Nipawin for hooking, cross checking and one call on Estevan for interference.
The second period saw the Bruins get a lead with another goal by Owen Miley at the 11 minute mark.
In the third and final period we saw all of the excitement with the Bruins would secure the game with a third goal shortly after the 10 minute mark.
The end result was a 3-2 win over the Hawks.
The Bruins are now on the road to face the Melfort Mustangs Saturday night at 7:30pm.
