The Estevan Bruins have made a trade within their division ahead of the 2021/22 season.
The Bruins’ have traded 20-year-old forward Erik Boers to the Yorkton Terriers in exchange for a conditional 2nd round pick in the SJHL draft.
Boers (’01) played 21 GP in his rookie season in 2019/20, tallying 11 PTS (4G, 7A) and 60 PIM after being acquired at the December 1st roster deadline. Boers started last year with the Bruins, but did not suit up in a regular season game after being injured in a preseason game.
