Bruins’ Trade (F) Malay and (D) Eagle In Separate Deals

The Estevan Bruins made two separate trades over the weekend.

The Bruins have traded forward Jovan Malay (’02) to the Fort McMurray Oil Barons (AJHL) in exchange for a Player Development Fee (PDF). Malay played in two regular season games for the Bruins and also had 3 PTS in two preseason games following training camp.

The Bruins have also traded defenceman Lucas Eagle (’02) to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines (MJHL). This trade, along with the previous trade of Caleb Petrie to Wayway in September, completes the deal for Mikol Sartor done in the offseason. Eagle suited up in five regular season games for the Bruins, registering one assist and 8 PIM. Eagle was previously acquired from the Camrose Kodiaks (AJHL) in August.

The Bruins currently sit at 24 players (14 forwards, 8 defenceman, 2 goalies) on the roster, after acquiring Kian Calder and Prescot Senger in separate deals late last week.
