The Eagle Sky Estevan Bruins announced Thursday, the team has traded forward Odin George to the Kindersley Klippers in exchange for a Player Development Fee.
The move was made due to the Bruins’ abundance of 20-year-olds, with 10 on the roster prior to the trade, while only eight are permitted in the lineup for a given game, as per league rules.
George, who was in his first season with the Bruins, registered five points (four goals, one assist) in 12 games with the team this season, proving especially dangerous on the penalty kill netting a pair of shorthanded goals.
The Bruins would like to thank George for his contributions to the team this season and wish him well in his next chapter with the Klippers.
