The Estevan Bruins have traded defenceman Owen Simmons (’04) to the Jamestown Rebels of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in exchange for a Player Development Fee (PDF).
Simmons joined the Bruins ahead of the 2020-21 season and played in two regular season games before the SJHL season was suspended and subsequently cancelled. This season, Simmons dressed in four games for the Bruins and put up two assists (both on Oct. 2nd vs Weyburn).
The Bruins currently sit with 23 players (14 forwards, 7 defencemen, 2 goalies) on the active roster.
