The Estevan Bruins have acquired defenseman Owen Miley (02) from the Renfrew Jr. A Wolves of the CCHL. In exchange the Bruins sent the Wolves a player development fee. The Anchorage, AK native recorded 1 goal and 21 assists in 44 games for the Renfrew Wolves.
“Owen is a very mobile defenseman that sees the ice very well. Looking at his numbers it demonstrates he can move the puck very well and is a player that can add offense from the backend for us. We expect Owen to help us on the power play next season and we are excited to add him to our roster” commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.
Owen Miley had this to say about joining the Bruins “I couldn’t be more excited to be joining a great team in Estevan. Can’t wait to play in front of the great fans and be a part of this awesome community. I’m beyond grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started. Go Bruins”.
