A new book celebrating the past 50 years of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) is available for hockey fans just before Christmas.
‘The Heart & Soul of the SJHL’, compiled and produced by Rod Pedersen, is now available at the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins office in Affinity Place until December 21st.
The book offers history on all 12 current SJHL teams as well as now defunct SJHL franchises. It includes photos of the SJHL rinks and a whole #HumboldtStrong section recognizing the 2017/18 Humboldt Broncos team.
Each book is $30, taxes included, with the Bruins receiving the majority of profit for each book sale making it a valuable fundraiser for the local hockey club.
The Bruins office is open from 9am-4pm until Friday, December 21st. Books will also be available for purchase by cash or cheque only at the Taphouse from 11:30am-1:30pm on Tuesday, December 18th with Rod Pedersen autographing books.
