The remainder of the 2019/20 playoffs are officially on pause as the 10 commissioners of the leagues under the Canadian Junior Hockey League (CJHL) umbrella have announced that the current season has been suspended as a result of the COVID-19 global outbreak.
This includes the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) and the Estevan Bruins, who are currently in the middle of a Best-of-7 quarterfinal series with the Melfort Mustangs. Melfort leads the series (3-1) after four games, with Game 5 having been scheduled for Friday, March 13th in Melfort.
