The Estevan Bruins are one win away from an SJHL championship after a thrilling come from behind victory Saturday night at Affinity Place.

The Affinity Place was packed with fans which helped electrify the air every time they cheered. Not to mention that the 50/50 hit a season high record of $25,000 with the winning number BR3-384834. The winner was present in the audience and wishes not to have his name in this article.

Trailing 2-1 in the dying seconds of the third period, Bruins defence-man Nolan Jones was able to blast a shot past Flin Flon Bombers goaltender Cal Schell with just 5.8 seconds left to force overtime. The eruption of noise that followed shook the very walls of Affinity Place. With the end of the third period tied there was hope back in the audience as the Bruins still had a chance to win the Game

In overtime it was a a beautiful goal scored by Bruins star forward Olivier Pouliot who would go on to become the overtime winner, as the Quebec native was able to get a stick on an Alex Von Sprecken point shot.

The remarkable victory sent a sell out crowd into an absolute frenzy.

The Bruins now have an opportunity to win the league championship in game 6 in Flin Flon on Tuesday.
