Jason Tatarnic Gives RTP Update on #SJatNoon

As the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) continues to lobby the provincial government for a Return-To-Play (RTP) to give a proper ending to the 2020-21 season, Estevan Bruins Head Coach and General Manager Jason Tatarnic stopped in to give an update to the public on the #SJatNoon on Monday.

The #SJatNoon is an hour-long program on the SJHL Facebook Page that runs every Monday throughout the season. Recently, the Manitoba Junior Hockey League (MJHL) announced the cancellation of the remainder of their season due to being unable to reach a feasible agreement with the Manitoba government on a RTP. On the other side of Saskatchewan, the province of Alberta and the AJHL have just announced an approved RTP that will see the AJHL resume games starting in March.

A decision on the SJHL season is expected to be announced during the first week of March, and looks like it will resemble the ‘Hub Centre’ style that was recently approved for the Western Hockey League (WHL) in Regina, that will feature the five SK WHL teams and the two MB WHL teams.
