The Estevan Bruins are pleased to announce that defenseman Matthew Ronn (05) has committed to play for the Bruins next season. The Ebenezer, SK native recorded 1 goals and 12 assists in 36 games for the Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA program.
“Matthew is a very calm player on the backend. He sees the ice very well and makes a great first pass on the transition. He is very sound defensively and we are very excited that he has decided to play for us this season” commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.
Matthew Ronn had this to say about joining the Bruins “I’m honoured to have the opportunity to play for the Bruins and be part of an amazing hockey community such as Estevan’s. I’m very excited to get things started”.
