The Estevan Bruins have acquired the rights of Owen Barrow (03) from the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL for a player development fee. Barrow played the last two seasons for the Powell River Kings before being traded to the Merritt Centennials this season.
“Owen competes very hard and has a good skill set for a bigger body. We feel making the jump to the SJHL will be a fresh start and great opportunity for Owen. He has the ability to put up some offensive numbers in the right situation” commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.
Owen is expected to be in the line-up this Wednesday as the Bruins face-off against the Waywayseecappo Wolverines in Ochapowace, SK.
