The Eagle Sky Estevan Bruins are pleased to announce, defenceman Kieran Ronan has committed to Concordia University Wisconsin for the next chapter of his hockey career, next fall.

Ronan, who joined the Bruins early in the season, coming over from the Aberdeen Wings of the North American Hockey League, has been a natural fit on the Estevan blue line, logging big minutes in all situations with the team while putting up 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) in 35 games.

Ronan’s play earned the New Hartford, NY., USA, product a spot on the SJHL’s Team Gold for the 2025 SJHL/MJHL Showcase earlier in the week, as one of the Top-60 players in the SJHL this season.

Bruins’ Head Coach and GM, Drew Kocur said Ronan’s maturity on and off the ice should make him a natural fit at the next level.

“Kieran is a great kid that has a ton of skill,” Bruins’ head coach, Drew Kocur said. “An offensive threat each night, he has played a lot for the Bruins over the last five months. He is very mature and will do great things not only in hockey but academically. We wish him all the best in his future of hockey and school.”

Located in Mequon, WI, USA, the Concordia University Falcons compete in the Northland Angels Conference (NACC) of the NCAA DIV III.
