The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) has released dates and guidelines for teams to begin preseason games between October 17th – November 1st.
The Estevan Bruins will play a pair of home-and-home games with the Weyburn Red Wings as teams prepare for a regular season that has yet to be announced. The Bruins will travel to Weyburn on the Friday’s: October 23rd and 30th, with the Red Wings returning to Estevan on the Saturday’s: October 24th and 31st.
A maximum of 150 spectators will be allowed during preseason games, with the attendance capacity for regular season games yet to be approved. However, the hope is that 50% capacity (less for physical distancing) will be approved with the opportunity to expand as the season moves along.
Details on the regular season protocols and schedule aren’t expected until November 1st.
