The Estevan Bruins are excited to announce the date for the now-annual Team Skills Competition and Community Skate, set for the end of the month.
The event will be held on Sunday, February 23rd from 5:00pm – 6:30pm at Affinity Place. Once again, admission will be FREE for all ages!
At 5:00pm, the players will take to the ice for the Skills Competition. The players will be divided into two teams and compete against one another in a variety of events including: Hardest Shot, Fastest Skater, Accuracy, Shootout, and more! Points will be awarded throughout the competition and one team will be crowned the winner.
For a donation of $10 or more, kids aged 16 & under can watch the competition from ice level on the benches. Kids aged 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult.
Following the Skills Competition, fans will be invited to put on their skates and join the team in a ‘Community Skate with the Bruins’ until 6:30pm. Dressing rooms will be open for people to bring their skates downstairs for the duration of the event.
