The Estevan Bruins are excited to announce the date for the return of our annual Team Skills Competition and Community Skate, set for the first weekend in March.
The event will be held on Sunday, March 5th from 4:00pm – 6:00pm at Affinity Place. Once again, admission will be FREE for all ages!
At 4:00pm, the players will take to the ice for the Skills Competition. The players will be divided into two teams and compete against one another in a variety of events including: Hardest Shot, Fastest Skater, Accuracy, Shootout, and more! Points will be awarded throughout the competition and one team will be crowned the winner.
Following the Skills Competition, fans will be invited to put on their skates and join the team in a ‘Community Skate with the Bruins’ until 6:00pm. Dressing rooms will be open for people to bring their skates downstairs for the duration of the event.
