The WHL is coming to Estevan!

The Estevan Bruins are happy and excited to Announce that on September 13th at Affinity Place, the WHL is coming to Estevan.

The Regina Pats and the Swift Current Broncos will take to the ice in Estevan for a one time special exhibition game.

The President of the Bruins Josh Biggs had this to say, “The Estevan Bruins are thrilled to be able to bring WHL hockey to Estevan on September 13. After seeing the support of our fan base and the appetite for hockey during last years playoffs and Centennial Cup we want to continue to bring top quality events to the City of Estevan and Affinity Place. This a great opportunity for people in Estevan and surrounding areas to watch projected NHL number one draft pick and Pats superstar Connor Bédard in our home rink. The Bruins, Broncos and Pats all recognize the importance of growing the game and supporting hockey at the grassroots level, which is why we’re thrilled to offer one free ticket to every child registered in Estevan Minor Hockey for the upcoming season.”

“In addition, all proceeds from the nightly 50/50 as well as 1/3 of the gate admission will be going to Estevan Minor Hockey Association to support youth hockey in Estevan. We’d like to express our gratitude to the Regina Pats, Swift Current Broncos as well as former Bruins President Cory Prokop, who got the ball rolling on this idea. ”

Tickets for this exclusive game will be available online starting Wednesday August 24th at 5:00pm
