The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins have traded defenceman Jack Michell (’01) to the Flin Flon Bombers in exchange for goaltender Pierce Diamond (’98).
The Bruins then subsequently traded Diamond to the Cowichan Valley Capitals of the BCHL in exchange for Future Considerations.
Michell has tallied six points (3G, 3A) in 33 games with the Bruins this season. The Saskatoon-born blueliner also scored one goal in four playoff games as an AP during the 2018 postseason with the Bruins.
The Bruins would like to thank Jack and the Michell family for their contributions and wish him well in what is sure to be a very bright future in hockey.

The Bruins also traded goaltender Matt Lukacs to the Notre Dame Hounds in exchange for Future Considerations.
Lukacs (’98) has not appeared in a game this season for Estevan. Last season, the Coalhurst, AB-born netminder appeared in 29 regular season games for the Bruins posting a 2.97 GAA and a .902 Sv%.
