Bruins veteran forward and assistant captain Cody Davis, was injured during the first period of our Saturday game against the Melfort Mustangs. Cody suffered a broken ankle when he slid into the net and boards after being slashed on a breakaway. Cody was assessed at the rink and sent to St. Joseph’s hospital where he was diagnosed with a broken ankle.
Cody will be out for at least a few weeks but we hope to see him back some time after the Christmas break.
