The Estevan Bruins are proud to announce 2006-born defenceman Michael Gallant has committed to play for the team ahead of the 2023/24 SJHL season.
“We’re excited to add Michael to our roster and we look forward to having him in Estevan,” expressed Head Coach/GM Jason Tatarnic. “Michael’s biggest strength is his mobility. He’s an excellent skater that can get up and down the ice. He has good vision and we feel he become a very good player at the junior level.”
“I am very excited to begin my junior hockey career in Estevan, an organization that wants to win a championship every year,” stated Gallant. “My goal is to develop into an even better player and help contribute in a positive way to the Bruins quest for another title.”
“I would like to thank Coach Tatarnic for having the confidence in me and look forward to being a Bruin in Estevan.”
Gallant, who will only turn 17 years old in September, spent last season with the Burnaby Winter Club in U18 Prep (CSSHL) playing 31 games with 4 goals and 6 assists for 10 points and 14 penalty minutes.
