Bruins Acquire Cyr (’99) For Player Development Fee

VETERAN FORWARD PLAYED LAST TWO SEASONS IN KINDERSLEY

The Estevan Bruins have acquired forward Devon Cyr (1999) from the Bonnyville Pontiacs (AJHL) for a Player Development Fee. Bonnyville had previously acquired Cyr’s rights from the Kindersley Klippers at the conclusion of the 2018/19 season.

The veteran forward (turns 20 on November 24th) has spent the last two seasons with Kindersley, suiting up in 80 regular season games and 7 playoffs games during that span. Last season, Cyr was limited to 38 regular season games but scored 13 goals for a talented Klippers team that came within two points of winning the Global Ag Risk Solutions division.
