The Estevan Bruins have made a trade with the Melville Millionaires, potentially adding more depth to the forward group ahead of the 2021-22 regular season.

The Bruins acquired the SJHL list rights to forward Carter Massier (’01) from the Melville Millionaires in exchange for a conditional pick in the 2023 SJHL Bantam Draft.

Massier (6’1, 180lbs) has played the last three seasons with the Regina Pats (WHL) appearing in 95 games and tallying 27 points (13G, 14A). During the 2021 WHL Hub games in Regina, Massier played in all 24 games putting up 12 points (5G, 7A).

If Massier (Peace River, AB) is made available to the Junior A level for his 20-year-old season, the Bruins will hold his rights in the SJHL.
