The Estevan Bruins have acquired the SJHL list rights of forward Tyson Yaremko (‘05) from the Battlefords North Stars in exchange for future considerations.
In 2022-23, the Saskatoon, SK product recorded 63 points (21 G/42 A) and 68 PIM in 41 games for the Saskatoon Blazers U18AAA program as they won the SMAAAHL championship and won a bronze medal at the national U18AAA championship.
In 2020, Yaremko was drafted 48th overall by the North Stars and was a 68th WHL pick by the Swift Current Broncos. “Tyson has signed a WHL contract with the Broncos and we know he will be focused on making their hockey team this coming season. We will have to wait and see how that plays out but he would be an elite SJHL player,” commented Head Coach Jason Tatarnic.
