Bruins Continue Winning Ways, Blank Hawks 6-0

Defencemen Nolan Jones and Dayton Deics both scored in the first period and the Estevan Bruins went on to beat the Nipawin Hawks 6-0 Tuesday night at Centennial Arena in Nipawin.

Mark Rumsey also scored twice, his league leading 20th and 21st, while Cody Davis and Caelan Fitzpatrick also found the next.

Goaltender Cam Hrdlicka made 21 savesĀ for his first shutout of the season.

With the victory the Bruins remain unbeaten in regulation on the road this season, excluding the SJHL Showcase neutral site event in Warman.

The Bruins will now eye their 20th win of the year Wednesday night in Melfort.
