Two wins over their arch-rivals over the weekend has the Estevan Bruins back on track in the early stages on the SJHL season.
The Bruins improved their record to 3-6 with a 4-2 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings Sunday at Affinity Place.
Bruins forward Evan Forrest snapped a 2-2 tie late in the third period to lead the Bruins to the win. Tyler Guy and Logan Ziegler also scored for Estevan, while Cody Davis added an empty netter in the dying seconds of the game.
Weyburn falls to 3-5 on the year.
The Bruins now prepare for a game Tuesday night against the Notre Dame Hounds in Wilcox, Sask.
