The Estevan Bruins and the SJHL have officially released it’s schedule for the 2023-2024 regular season.
The new season will open up on Friday, September 22nd with a total of five games on the schedule, including the Bruins hosting the Melville Millionaires on opening night at 7:00pm. This years’ schedule will once again feature 56 games and includes the SJHL Showcase which will be held November 13th to 16th in Warman, Saskatchewan. The Bruins will face the Flin Flon Bombers (Nov. 13 at 4:30pm) and Battlefords North Stars (Nov. 14 at 10:30am) at the SJHL Showcase
In addition to the home opener, the Bruins have plenty of notable games on the schedule in 2023-24 including:
- Friday, Sept. 29th – Weyburn @ Estevan at 7pm
- Friday, Oct. 13th – Flin Flon @ Estevan at 7pm
- Friday, Oct. 20th – Estevan @ Notre Dame in Carlyle at 7pm
- Friday, Oct. 27th – Battlefords @ Estevan at 7pm
- Friday, Dec. 15th – Estevan @ Notre Dame in Midale at 7pm
- Friday, Mar. 15th – Weyburn @ Estevan at 7pm
There will also be 3 unique home games on the schedule that fans won’t want to miss out on:
- Monday, Oct. 9th – Melville @ Estevan at 2pm – THANKSGIVING
- Wednesday, Nov. 22nd – Notre Dame @ Estevan at 12:30pm – HOCKEY HOOKY FOR ESTEVAN STUDENTS
- Monday, Feb. 19th – Notre Dame @ Estevan at 4pm – FAMILY DAY
Several promotional games that Bruins’ fans have come to expect will once again return including: Teddy Bear Toss night, the Calcutta Shootout, Jersey Auction night, and more! The dates for those games will be finalized before the start of the season.
