THE BRUINS WILL NEED A BIG PERFORMANCE SUNDAY TO RIGHT THE SHIP
The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins turned in one of their worst performances of the 2016-2017 season on Wednesday night with an 8-2 loss on home ice versus the Notre Dame Hounds. The Bruins trailed 5-1 after a shaky first period and were unable to turn it around in the next two periods as they were badly out shot.
The team will have the opportunity to get back into the win column in a rare Sunday game this week against the Flin Flon Bombers. Flin Flon is red hot right now collecting points in their last 12 games, 11 of those being wins. The Bruins currently sit 4th in the SJHL standings and will look to improved on their 28-15-0-1 record over the final 14 games.
