MCNEIL’S 4 GOAL GAME SENT THE ENTIRE CROWD HOME WITH A TOWER/TAPHOUSE PIZZA
Affinity Place was buzzing Saturday night as the Power Dodge Estevan Bruins took the ice against the Humboldt Broncos. The Bruins were greeted by a crowd of over 1,500 and did not disappoint as they pulled off a 7-4 win after adding two empty net goals late in the game.
The highlight of the night came on the second empty net goal by McNeil. As part of a promotion with the local Tower/Taphouse/1124 restaurant, if a Bruins player scores 4 goals in a single game the entire rink goes home with a coupon for a free pizza.
Such a feat could not have happened on a better night, as the Bruins skated in front of a season high attendance. The Bruins are back in action tonight against the Nipawin Hawks. Puck drops at 7:00 at Affinity Place.
