The night started out well for Matt McNeil and the Bruins as Pete Sereggela presented McNeil with a shirt to commemorate a special night on January 20th. When asked about it Sereggela said “Because of (McNeil’s) four goals, everyone in the rink went home with pizza. The only person who didn’t get a pizza was Matt himself.”
The presentation proved to be the high point of an otherwise disappointing night for the team as they fell 5-0 to the Nipawin Hawks. The Bruins now sit tied for third in the league standings with the Hawks with 16 games to play.
The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins are back in action at home on January 28th when they will play host to the Melfort Mustangs at Affinity Place. Puck drop is at 7:30.
